February 2024 Update
A new strategy, green ground cover, deck build, and eclipse fest.
I wrote and published Montanoso 2024—a two pager about how Montanoso should evolve to keep momentum going. It details a new direction for the DAO and gives an overview of some of the software I’d like to build. Would love to hear your feedback.
After a wet January the ground has greened with ground cover and early grass. The bluebonnets are on the verge of blooming, a few have buds popping out with the slightest hint of blue. March will be a great month.
A friend of Montanoso came out to visit and help build a floating deck. Over the course of a day and a half we built a 12’ square floating deck. Read more about it in the deck story.
We’re hosting a free event for the total solar eclipse on April 8th. Friends of the project are welcome to join for Montanoso eclipse fest. Camp and avoid traffic or come for just the day. Activities and food will be available. Make a day of it.
